The Stinky Beach is about half a mile west of Heaste [what three words; ///twee.assures.owner ]. I gets the full force of the prevailing south westerly gales and as a result plastic and other detritus has been accumulating over the years. The results are truly upsetting. The beach is covered layers and layers of rope and netting plus a top layer of lighter items such as plastic bottles, cartons, shoes, oil cans etc. The hinterland to the beach was covered with similar light items, plus half a kayak, but they have been cleared now.

The beach is gradually being cleared and the bagged rubbish piled under netting out of the prevailing wind. Please help if you can.
