Black Shed Projects was formed on the Isle of Skye in 2016 to explore dialogues between landscape, culture and design. Projects to date include furniture design, mapping, and architecture. The Black Shed, which won an Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) Award in 2018, provided a base for the project work from 2017 – 2022. Black Shed Projects is now located in Oxford, though its spiritual home remains in the Highlands.
