The weather forecast was not at all encouraging. High winds and hail showers were predicted today. Indeed the dark clouds hung over the Cullin as I set off along the Torrin road on route to Kilmarie, one on the gateways to Camasunary bay. However, after a wild hail shower the clouds parted and the morning proved sunny and clear. After an hours treck over the hill to Camasunary bay I set about fixing the leaking gutter iat the Bothy and collecting three bags of rubbish from the beach. Much more rubbish still to collect! So depressing. All was quiet at the Bothy but there were five cars in the Kilmarie car park. A couple of mountain bikers from Sligachan expected to find a hotel in Kilmaire! I was sad to disappoint them. They headed back to Sligachan hungry and tired. I suggested that they call into the Bothy on the way back to light a fire and make soup. Maybe they did?
